iFMAR / FEMCA events

The 1/8th Buggy Pre-worlds in Ancol, Indonesia was held between 2nd and 5th April 2006. At the last minute, Dou Iun (Ah M) could not get leave from his work to attend this event. Kang Soon Heng also cancelled his participation.

From those that had attended, these are their final results:

26. Sam, ¼ B Final, 21 laps, 20:31.569 mins.
30. Wenyi, ¼ A Final, 18 laps, 20:16.940 mins.
42. Chester, 1/8 B Final, 20 laps, 20:31.876 mins.
66. Glenn, 1/32 B Final, 20 laps, 20:5.045 mins.
84. Ah Leng, 1/64 A Final, 20 laps, 20:38.676 mins.
106. Dennis, 1/256 A Final, 19 laps, 20:26.502 mins.

The top driver was Raul Peris from Spain. He completed 61 laps over a total time of 60:32.948 minutes. He drove a Kyosho MP777 with a Nova Rossi engine, using Maxis fuel, Sanwa radio and Proline tires.

The second and third positions went to Miguel Matias of Portugal and Ricardo Gomez of Spain respectively.

17th to 22nd May 2006 is the 2006 FEMCA Championship for 1/10th 200mm GP Touring cars in Taichung, Taiwan. More information could be obtained from the following URL:

1st to 8th July 2006 would be the 2006 iFMAR World Championship for 1/10th 190mm EP Touring cars in Collegno, Italy – Please join me in wishing our sole entrant, Nicholas Lee, the very best at this event.

28th August to 3rd September 2006 is the 2006 iFMAR World Championship for 1/8th GP Buggy in Ancol. FEMCA has not solicited our entry details and payment yet, but Mr. Trevor Reid has indicated the possibility of 6 seats. The following members please take note:

We are purposefully using a higher exchange rate here to take care of the bank charges. If you don’t present your kind self on the 25th April 2006, the club would deem that you have given up your seat with no recourse. Members down the list shall be offered your seat.

9th to 17th September 2006 is the 2006 iFMAR Championship for 1/10th 200mm GP Touring cars in Brisbane, Australia. Similar to the above arrangement for 1/8th Buggy, the following members please take note:
